Analysis of Pharmaceutical Sales in Ukraine

In spite of the fact that the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market is growing, medicine consumption per capita remains low. According to the results of 8 months of 2011, the total volume of pharmaceutical sales of all categories of goods amounted to 17.3 billion UAH in money equivalent and 1.2 billion. - in containers, compared with the same period of the previous year by 17,8% in money equivalent and by 1.4% in natural expression (according to company Proxima Research). The consumption of the same medicine remains at the level of $37 per capita per year. For comparison, in Russia this indicator by the end of 2010 was at the level of $72, in Latvia - $200, and in America - $900. More...
